As discussed at the last meeting, we are concidering running the powerline trail on Saturday, May 8th. Initial plans are to meet at the rest area in Superior (east of FLorence Junction) at 7:30 A.M. Roger Williams will be leading the run. The trail begins out of the Oak Flat campground just East of Superior. The trail makes a loop and we will be returning to the beginning of the trail, so trailering your vehicle is an option. This trail does have some technical spots. 33" tires, ground clearance, and a traction devise are recommended. This will be a day trip run, though you can camp in the Oak Flat campgound.

Right now we are guaging interest in doing this run. If you would like to attend, please respond on this thread. The meeting time is not set in stone and can be adjusted based on the needs of those who attend.

I have added some pics from previous club runs. The first 2 are from 08. The last 2 are from the last time I did this run back in 2000.

I am going to add Kurt to the list. I have this trail posted to classicbroncos.com as well, and he has responded there. There are about 3 others that are "maybes". Shane, get to discount!  Grin. Bill, you should have yours done, right? I am going to talk dave out of his turkey hunt as well. Paul, I am not sure what you need to get done but I hope you are ready by Sat.

My plan is Waffle House @ 6:00 AM on Idaho and US 60. Anyone want to join me?

A waffle would be good to get the day started.  I'll attend.

I'm working on it everyday...It's running and driving, but not as well as i'd like it to be... Tomorrow is still another test and change of things. But i'm 98.9% in...

We can add one more to the list. Riley is going to run the trail instead of going to prom.

Everyone,

I would like to go on this run, but my son has a soccer game.   The good news is only two games, weeks, are left in the season.  My son will not be playing any summer sports due to the excessive heat issue.

So, more wheeling trips are in my future.
