It was nice to meet some of you guys (and re-meet others) at the run this weekend. Big thanks to Mike for leading and to Roger for trailing. And a HUGE thanks to Dave and Mitch for getting me out of the creek.

Note to self: Remember to check water depth before crossing. Noob.

Hope to see you guys at the next run. I will cross the creek where everyone else does this time, I promise.

Hey Shane, no problem.  I you were the first vehicle I used that winch on  Grin  How is it running?  I was looking back though some of the pictures and it looked a little hairy from the front...

Its running fine (well, as good as it was before, I dont know if that qualifies for good). I think I was able (barely) to keep the intake out of the water. It felt a little tippy a couple times here and there, especially since I couldnt see the ground, and I remember one time specifically where I got nervous, but overall not too bad. Good spotter and winch operator is key! Gonna need to repack the wheel bearings, but the diffs are vented way high and so I all of my fluids are good. I owe you guys a beer or 3 at the Stampede!!

I would love to see some pics. Anyone have any loaded or a link??

Here are a couple more pictures of the run. As I was looking through all my pictures I was reminded of what a great time my family and I had. I can't wait until next month!!

Almost impossible to get any of the FSB on runs, except for Shane. Jason went this time, but doubt if he'll be back. Complained about how dirty his truck got and how long it took him to wash it again...LOL

I thought it was common with all bronco owners to let the rain wash their rigs...  Tongue

Bill is right. We have tried and tried (and tried some more) to get FSB guys out and they just dont show. Thats okay, I will be the ugly duckling in the bunch (that has to get pulled out of creeks and such)  Grin

Funny how J complained about the mud and I took pictures of mine!! Dont see it muddy often. Dusty as can be, but thats the first "mud" I have put it through.

And I will be darned if the rain wasnt timed just right. The mud balls are all washed off and if I hit a puddle hard enough, I think the sides will be pretty clean to. Not sure what do to about the inside, maybe leave the doors open tonight  Wink
