There are several members that will be going to Buttercup (imperial sand dunes outside of Yuma) for the President's Day weekend. Anyone is welcome to go along. I will be posting the specifics of my schedule of that weekend a week or two before we leave.

We are also working on doing a trail pre-run for the Stampede in the Table Mesa area in Feb. as well. I will post more info on this run as it becomes available.

Hi Mitch...  I am a go for leading a second feb run if it is still needed.  Considering three trails, all could have water and are candidates for the Stampede.  I will not be able to lead at the Stampede for I already have committed to help with another sat run.  Let me know.

Mike, I definetly think you should lead that trail. We need a couple new trails for the stampede and if you are already commited to another trail we will have to find a trail leader. Let me know which trail and when and I will see if I can find someone to lead it for the stampede. Thanks for your help Mike

It looks line the February dunes run is a no-go. Mike will post up the info on the Stampede pre-runs closer to Feb. Of the 3 trails under consideration, all have water crossings!!! So they should be fun to run in the spring.

The February club run will be in the Table Mesa area. This run has the option of two days and some camping for those that are interested. We will be meeting at the Rock Springs camping area just north of the Rock Springs Cafe for a run on Sat. Saturday evening Randy and Tiffany Harrel wil be providing a spaghetti dinner for those who want to stay. Then another trail run on Sunday. Hope to see you all there.

For those that plan to attend, there will be moderate and extreme trails ran on this pre-run. Also for those who plan on camping Sat. night, please help out by bringing a potluck dish. I will be posting more about the runs and the times the runs are leaving for those who don't plan on camping as soon as it is finalized.

There has been a slight change in trails being run on this weekend. We will run both easy and moderate trails with the possibility of extreme trails depending on the trail leaders that attend. The runs for both Sat. and Sun. will be leaving at 8:30 for those that plan on joining us just for the day. This should be a great weekend to to get the broncos out for a shake-down run before the Stampede. Hope to see you there!!
